SNZ Resources Available for Swimmers

Swimming New Zealand offers resoucres for swimmers to track their progress - inlcuding Log Books, Personal Best Books and Poolside aqua slates.

Log Books
Keeping a log of your training is essential for your success as a swimmer. Your log book helps to motivate you through a record of improvement. Log books record skill development progress and give you a comparison of work load as the season progresses.

Personal Best or "P.B." Book
A Personal Best Record Book is another essential tool for all swimmers whether starting out, or well accomplished competitors. The Swimming New Zealand ‘PB Book' has mental skills and goal setting activities to encourage your development and to build the skills you will need to improve your competitive edge.

Poolside Slates
An essential tool for competitive swimmers, slates work well wet or dry in combination with a 6B pencil (not included). Have your slate on poolside at every session. Use a pencil to record splits, heart rate, stroke count, information from your coach or attitude reminders. Transfer to your log book and use a rubber to erase (when dry) for the next session.

You can purchase these resources online on the SNZ website online shop.
