AquaGym Swim Club proudly congratulates:
Charles Porter and Cameron James for receiving the year 2 Scholarship from High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) and Academy Canterbury Talent Accelerator Program.
As part of the Year 2 Level 1 programme the boys will receive:
- Individual Personalized Plan ($500) - provisional, requiring ongoing participation at strength and conditioning sessions plus workshops.
- Gym membership at the University of Canterbury Rec Centre ($350)
- Access to the "Athletes Gym"
- Supervised strength and conditioning support (2 x weekly & programming)
- Advanced workshops (x 6)
Alex Laidlaw for being accepted into the level 2 and to Abbie Johnston and George Schroder for being accepted into the level 1 High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) and Academy Canterbury Talent Accelerator Program
As part of their programs they will receive

These swimmers are part of a program that is funded by the mainland foundation and the program covers all sports including hockey, netball, kayaking, football, cycling, sailing and volleyball. It is a very competitive process to be accepted. It is based on results, age, commitment and on recommendation from the regional sporting organisations.
This is quite an honour and our Head Coach is very proud to have 5 swimmers from AquaGym Swim Club as part of the program
